1967St Peter's is designated a Grade II listed building.
1872The rebuilt Decorated Gothic Revival church is completed, retaining the 1748 tower.
1869Victorian rebuilding begins under architect John Johnson, funded by James Blyth of Woolhampton House.
1860The British Archaeological Association records the medieval church before its rebuilding.
1808The church is shown on the Kingsclere Ordnance Survey Drawing.
1761St Peter's appears on John Rocque's map of Berkshire.
1748A new brick west tower is built, later faced with flint and crowned with a broach spire.
c.1260Medieval stained glass is installed in the church.
12th centuryA Norman nave is constructed, and the medieval church develops around it.
c.1086A church is recorded at Brimpton in the Domesday Book, and St Peter's is thought to occupy the site of one of the parish's two Domesday churches.
